Remembrance Sunday 2023
A cloudy day and damp, leaf covered roads reduced the head count this year, but still a reasonable turn out despite the circumstances. As always our thanks go to The Castle Inn at Bramber, Brighton City Airport and The Longshore pub for their help in organising the event.
The service was conducted by the Airport Chaplain, the Rev. Pat Alden and the wreath laid by Andrew Page,
R N Warrant Officer Class 1 and Eric Beadel, RAF Technician. My apologies for the lack of a wreath laying image, I was asked at that moment to read part of the service, not sure why, we'll sort that out for next year so that doesn't happen again.
The total raised by the raffle for the Royal British Legion was £160.00, many thanks to all who took part.
That's it for now, hope to see you again in 2024.
Best wishes.
